Everton Hill Dickinson Stadium

After having played at Goodison Park since 1892, Everton needed a new stadium in order to meet seating standards and increase capacity. Construction of a new stadium began in 2021 with the filling in of a riverside dock and was completed by the end of 2024 and officially opened in 2025. The modern construction completely changed the nature of the area causing it to lose its UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
